Individuals wishing to deepen their knowledge with post-baccalaureate studies can complete an advanced degree in business online or on campus through the UW-Whitewater Master of Business Administration and one of 12 unique emphases. Students benefit from the knowledge of instructors who are selected for excellent academic credentials as well as relevant professional experience. Graduates gain the necessary skills for the competitive marketplace, with the option of continuing their education or exploring different roles and industries. In evaluating candidates, the Committee on Admissions takes into consideration your individual interests, your motivation to succeed in a chosen profession, and prior academic achievement. Basic requirements for admission include graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent and an entrance exam or SAT/ACT scores.

Students completing MATH 162 and MATH 171 will be best prepared to transfer to baccalaureate programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business . Students should consult with an advisor or their intended transfer institution for additional guidance. Through the Drexel Co-op program, general business majors alternate six months of classroom learning with six months of full-time professional experience through Drexel-approved employers. With plans of study that allow for up to three co-ops, students can gain as much as 18 months of practical, hands-on experience in the workplace, applying what they’ve learned in real-world settings long before graduation. Students must also complete 9 units of upper division General Education and a total of 120 units for the degree. LeBow's MS and MBA dual degree programs offer graduates the benefit of a cross-discipline advanced business education, enhancing their careers with two degrees. The General Business Department is responsible for teaching the general business courses required of all LeBow undergraduate students. These courses include Foundations of Business I and II and Business Consulting. Students can enhance their business major with courses in social entrepreneurship, decision making, leadership and more. The General Business program is for students who may desire an “individualized” (i.e. less prescriptive) business major. For instance, a student interested in working for a market research firm may want to combine courses from both management information systems and marketing.
